Emergency Situations

What should I do if a tree has fallen on my house, car, or power lines?

Evacuate the area immediately and call 911 if anyone is injured or if power lines are involved. Do not touch the tree or downed wires. Call us at (504) 788-8733. We prioritize these emergencies, and will dispatch a crew as soon as possible to assess the situation, coordinate with utility companies, and prevent further damage.

What should I do if a tree is splitting or leaning dangerously?

Stay at least 2x the height of the tree away from the tree if able to and keep pets/children indoors. Do not attempt to brace or cut it yourself—sudden collapses are common. Call us immediately for emergency stabilization or removal.

What should I do if a tree is on fire after a lightning strike?

Call 911 first. Avoid using garden hoses to put out the fire. Once firefighters extinguish the flames, we work directly with the fire department to safely remove burned trees and assess nearby trees for hidden damage.

What should I do if a tree uproots but remains partially standing?

Treat it as an active hazard—uprooted trees can rebound or collapse without warning. Avoid the yard entirely until we arrive. We will stabilize the tree then safely dismantle the tree in sections, minimizing risk to your property.

What should I do if a tree is dropping large limbs without warning?

Stay indoors and avoid the area. Call us for a hazard assessment—we’ll identify the cause and remove unstable limbs, hanging deadwood or, ultimately, recommend a full tree removal.

Do you subcontract any part of the work?

All work is performed by our in-house crew to maintain quality control, safety standards, and accountability. Under certain circumstances, we utilize our large pool of resources to acquire additional specialized equipment.

Yes. We have over 90+ verified 5-star Google reviews and can share references from residential, commercial, and municipal clients upon request.

Pricing & Transparency

How much will it cost?

Prices vary based on tree size, location, and project complexity. We work closely with our customers to solve their problems efficiently and cost effectively. In general, most jobs start at 0 and depending on the scope of work and time needed will be adjusted as needed.  After a free on-site evaluation, we provide a guaranteed quote valid for 30 days.

What factors affect the price?

The primary factors are tree size, location (e.g., proximity to structures/power lines), accessibility, the equipment required (cranes, stump grinders), time needed and the project scope.

Do you offer discounts, payment plans, or financing?

We run seasonal promotions. Repeat customers receive 10% off annual maintenance plans. If you are curious about our maintenance plans, call us at 504-788-8733 and mention “10% Off Maintenance Plans.”

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards, checks, and cash.

Do you charge extra for weekend or after-hours work?

No.

What’s included in the guaranteed price?

The quote covers labor, equipment, permits, debris removal, and cleanup. Additional services like stump grinding are priced separately and disclosed upfront.

What happens if you find more issues once work starts?

In very rare circumstances, if any changes in the scope of work have to be made, we will have our arborist do a reassessment free of charge.

Process & Scheduling

How do I schedule service?

Call (504) 788-8733 or request a free consultation online (link to our contact card here). Non-emergency jobs are typically scheduled within 2 –7 days.

How far in advance should I book?

Book 1–2 weeks ahead for routine work. Storm season (June–November) often has high demand. We recommend you schedule preventive pruning early.

Do you work during Mardi Gras or festivals?

Yes. We adjust schedules to avoid parade routes but remain available all year round. We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Mardi Gras Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Good Friday, and July 4th.

Do I need to be home during the work?

No. You do not need to be on site unless the property requires access through locked gates. We always confirm details ahead of time and send updates via text/email. Before and after photos are always provided to our customers.

What’s your policy during rain storms?

We only reschedule due to rain or wind if conditions are dangerous for our team or affect the operation of our equipment.

What should I do before work starts?

Sit back and relax. We’re here to solve your problem safely and efficiently. We’ll leave your property spotless. For protected trees, we handle permits and HOA approvals beforehand.

Cleanup & Debris

Is cleanup included?

Yes. All branches, logs, and debris that we generate are chipped, hauled away, or recycled. Your property is left clean and tidy. Stump grinding is a separate charge.

Can I keep the wood or wood chips?

Absolutely. We can leave logs and chips for mulch upon request, or haul everything away at no extra cost.

Property Protection

What if there’s damage to my property?

Our general liability insurance covers accidental damage to structures, landscaping, or utilities. Claims are documented and resolved with the customer. Our commercial contractor’s license ensures that we are fully equipped to repair any damage that may occur. A certificate of insurance can be provided upon request.

Will heavy equipment damage my yard?

We use ground protection mats and controlled rigging to minimize impact. Heavy equipment (e.g., cranes) is only used when necessary and operated by trained professionals.

Tree Health & Maintenance

Do you offer tree health evaluations?

Yes. Our arborists provide free tree health assessments, including risk evaluations, disease diagnosis, and written recommendations for treatment or removal.

What is the best time of year to trim trees?

Late winter (January–February) is ideal for most species, as trees are dormant and pests are less active. For hurricane-prone areas like New Orleans, schedule preventive pruning by May. Palms and oaks have species-specific timing—we’ll advise during your assessment.

Can you help prepare in advance for a hurricane or storm?

Yes. We offer storm-prep packages: crown thinning, deadwood removal, and pruning high-risk trees. We make sure branches are clear of windows, roofs and other buildings on the property. These services reduce damage that a powerful storm can cause.

Can you preserve a diseased tree?

If salvageable, we recommend treatments like deep-root fertilization or pest control. If removal is necessary, we’ll give you a detailed assessment.

Permits & Compliance

Who will be responsible for permits or HOA approvals?

We secure all required permits for protected trees, historic sites, and HOA projects. Compliance with local ordinances is guaranteed.

Commercial & HOA Services

Do you offer contracts for multiple properties?

Yes. We provide discounted maintenance plans for HOAs and commercial clients, including storm prep, annual pruning, and 24/7 emergency response.

Additional Services

Do you plant or replace trees?

Our licensed arborists will recommend the best species for your property and your taste.
